Welcome to the Hewitt Cattle Company and the collective efforts of a family dedicated to the future of the Australian Beef Industry.
I take great pride in the continued achievements of the Hewitt family as I have witnessed the generations before and after me commit to the hard work on which our company has been built. In addition to hard work, I believe our success has been forged by an adaptability and flexibility to identify and harness opportunity when it presents itself, but also move quickly to make adjustments to diversify or protect ourselves when there is potential to be compromised.
Knowledge sharing has also been integral to the progression of our company. Some of the greatest lessons I have learned have come to me from others or by utilising the experiences of others to research what has and hasn’t worked before me. I have been witness to many wonderful periods of opportunity in our industry and also lived through a number of challenging times the industry has faced. But the only failed lessons are those which we fail to learn from.
Our family is extremely excited about the future and prospects of the Australian Beef Industry. In particular, we find great strength in the world’s continued demand for protein. Australia’s ability to produce beef cleanly and cost effectively is something we should all be proud of and invest in, and we must remain committed to the sustainability and viability of the industry in our country.
